as my a8js’ backlight dims i’m officially seeking a new laptop still buying this year. top considerations:
- manufacturer: this has to be apple, sony, toshiba or asus, mixed order
- screen: 14.1″ proved itself ideal. also considering 13.3″. pixel size from 1366×768, definitely led backlit (or better?)
- processor: something 2010 intel
- storage: ssd!! when does it mass ship?
- graphics: something a bit more than “hd capable”, preferably dedicated
- price: up to 1100€, please?
everything else is relevant, but not major. welcome things like apple mbp’s unibody, 7 hour battery, light sensors, illuminated keyboard…
